LPW - Unsigned Swiss, likely by LeCoultre, miniature ladies' pendant watch, 25mm, 14K gold (tested) OF original case with green guilloche enamel and diamond to rear, seed pearl bezel and rear perimeter, gold cuvette, fancy cream colored enamel dial with blue hour numerals, gold and silver foil minute markers, fancy gilt Louis XV style hands, SW-nail-set, cylinder escapement, 10J, wolf's tooth winding, gilt mvt, s#27052 within case. Comes with a matching 14K gold (tested) and green guilloche enamel pin as well as with a leather box marked to its liner for retailer Wilson & Gill of London. Gross weight of assembled watch 9.7 dwt (15.1 g). Gross weight of 14K gold pin 3.5 dwt (5.5 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, some mild haze to portions of barrel bridge; flawless dial; excellent hands; case shows very little wear, few pinpoint nicks to band, two small dings to cuvette perimeter, green guilloche enamel fully intact with few fine scratches, rear seed pearls fully present, front seed pearls present though one at 7 is chipped and darkened; tight bow, crown shows little wear; plastic crystal with scattered fine scratches. Pin is excellent showing little wear, green guilloche enamel fully intact aside from a small flake of loss at upper-left. Box shows medium exterior wear, some leather loss with the most notable area at center of upper lid, latch not securing and box with damage to interior edge at latch position.
